2008 Chrysler Town & Country

Question: Why won't my air compressor kick on?

Question

Visitor, Farmington, MO, April 13, 2010, 15:08

I have a 2008 Chrysler Town & Country. The air conditioning only blows warm air, not cool. When I went to put freon in it, we noticed the air compressor wasn't even turning on. Therefore, no cool air if no air compressor! Help! How do I solve this problem?

If your system is getting low on freon the low pressure switch won't let the AC compressor run until its been recharged and pressure is back to normal, have a shop check for low freon www.repairpal.com/directory

My A/C went too. There is a recall on the hose. Dealer changed it and recharged the system - no cost. All works now.
