1999 Mercedes-Benz E430 Question: Why will the car not accelerate.

E430 will only accelerate to 1000 and 1500 RPMs. On start it revs to 2500 and back to idle. Changed the accelerator pedal sensor. There are no codes stored. The BAS and ESP lights are on. Brake lights work. And it runs smooth not rough.

POSS THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR IS ALSO BAD. IT WILL DEFAULT TO APPROX 1500 RPM.SUGGEST YOU GET A DIAG TO CONFIRM

The throttle position sensor has already been replaced and it did not fix the problem. 'Got any other ideas?....no codes....where should I start?? Thanks.
