I discovered this a couple weeks after I purchased the car,(used). I had the dealer shampoo it 3 times but it is still oily and they offered no suggestions as to why it is that way. Could there be something leaking that is causing this? I have taken it to 3 mechanics with no solution or ideas.

The only thing inside the car that resembles a oil to the touch but is not actually oil is coolant from the heater core. Check the coolant level in the car before driving it any longer or you may overheat the engine then be stuck with a payment and no car. If the coolant is significantly low the heater core is probably leaking and the car needs to have its cooling system pressure tested so the leak can be verified.
