Question: Why replace both Headlamps when only one fails?

Also, Ford refers to them as BULBs. Are we talking about the entire unit?

    You only have so many hours on a bulb, if one fails the other isn't far behind. The other side of the coin is that a replacement bulb will not be the same as the one it replaced: different color, intensity, etc. Better to do both and have clear, bright light to see into the darkness.
