1990 Mazda Miata MX-5 Question: why my car will not start

 Rookie

i just repaired my trany after replacing back in car it will not start after cecking around i saw that the brake light would come on once the cluch was ingauged i check the wiring and i don't know why its coming on and now the car will not start. i can push start the car and it will run put to cold start it will not start please help

    If you can push start the car, the first place I would check is the condition of the neutral safety switch at the clutch pedal.

    in my 96 mazda, automatic, I had to remove the center console to replace a modulator that was connected to the shift handle. Also, this ran off the fuse link for the brake lights . When the fuse was blown for the brake lights, the car could not be moved from park to any gear
