I have changed the cam and crankshaft sensor ,i have changed the ingnition module the coil paks the tps sensor and the mass flow sensor the same code keeps coming up for a throttle position sensor but i put a new one on . I have to pat the gas petal several times to get the car started which then it woukld idle high . Once it starts i put it in gear but it takes the transmisssion too long to go into second gear .WHY is this happening PLEASE HELP ME IN THIS MATTER I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO. there is a little backfire when you are trying to start the car

1-You have improperly installed the TPS! Easily done. (Best bet)
2-There is a wiring problem in the TPS circuit. (Possible)
    3- ?????????
Unplug the TPS and start the engine, then reply with results.

okay I done that I even took it out .I then even took the vaccunm line off that goes to the Map sensor with the car on it then idle down in fact it shut off with the tps sensor out . I changed the map sensor out the car it ran, fine but now its idle down too low now the car wont start its cranking like it is out of gas . How or where do i start to trace down the wiring problem with the tps .What else can I do to figure this out I dont know too much about this problem and Im tried of guessing it killing my pockets as well

Look at the TPS, see how it works with the throttle rod. Now install it so it turns with throttle movement. If you get it right and put everything back together, problem should be solved!

Yes the light is still on and there is some misfire .Like i said before when you drive the car for about 30 minutes cut if off It will not start unless it cools off for about 1 hour then it would start and ride with no problem . I thought about the coil paks tonite when i could not tighten one of the screws on the coil pak . I remember if there is a hairline crack in the coil pak once it gets hot it will shut the car down is this true. Pushrod i really do appreciate all your help I wish I could meet you face to face THANKS JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW THIS . By the way pushrod I just find out whats wrong with the car THE FUEL PUMP IS GONE I would like to stay in contact with you heres my e-MAIL lawhornpetri@yahoo.com and my number is (229) 214-0896 please contact me
