Question: why is this happening???

my door open light comes on when i apply my breaks to stop it comes on like it should when a door is open but when they are all closed and the trunk when i go to stop at a red light or stop sign or apply my breaks it comes on i know this is not right but dont know why its coming on help!!!

    THE SWITCH IS IN THE DOOR LATCH FOR THIS LIGHT,DOES IT SHOW WHICH DOOR?
    MAY NEED ADJUSTING OR REPLACE LATCH. CAN TRY FIUSHING LATCH WITH WD-40.
    WHEN YOU HIT THE BRAKES, THE DOOR SHIFTS ENOUGH TO TURN LIGHT ON.

    no its none of the doors cause then it would only do it when the car moves. it does this when it is parked when i put the break on to take the e brake off if it was the doors i would have been able to take care of it but i have cheacked every thing. like i said if it was the doors then it would do it only when i was driving this does it even when im parked in my drive way. so yeah its got to be some thing else other then that.

    Sounds like you've got it narrowed down to 'not the doors'. Try this......with the car running , in park, have windows open-doors closed and watch the indicator while someone else goes around and wiggles the doors. DON"T reply if it's one of the latches slightly out of adjustment. If that's not it , then you've got a loose/ broken gound somewhere in the circuit. Don't forget to wiggle the trunk ,too. ELMER FUDD FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!
