Question: why is there transmission fluid everywhere when i look under the hood of my van

it seems like there is transmission fluid everywhere when i look under the hood of my van and there is some leaking on the ground.....also the fan wont stop running

    You may have a trans oil cooler leak at the radiaor. There are two large hoses going into radiator which are the coolant hoses. There are also two smaller hoses which are both on the same side going into radiator. These are the trans cooler lines. The wind is probably blowing the trans fluid all over the engine compartment while your driving. I dont know why the fan wouldnt stop running unless what you think is trans fluid is actually engine coolant. If it is trans fluid check the cooler lines and radiator.
