There is a Honda tech on this site, if you'll wait, not sure when he'll be on, but usually in the late evenings, He can answer that question better then any of us guessing. Be patient it is the weekend.

First question-how many miles? Next-original trans? Next-Fluid level been check PROPERLY? MUST check with it parked onLEVEL ground , engine OFF , preferably warmed up first , then shut off for about 30 seconds then check dipstick (I repeat- with engine OFF). last When was the last time the fluid was changed and was HONDA fluid used , or aftermarket?

250,000 miles. yes it has been checked in all the correct ways. it had its last oil change on the 5th of this month at tire kingdom, so I'm not sure what kind of fluid was used.

Have the trans. scanned at a Honda dealer and post codes. Code #s , not descriptions , please. Tire Kingdom? ....probably wrong fluid...........
