LS? SS? 3.4? 3.8? OH WELL EITHER WAY FIND AND UNPLUG OIL PRESSURE SWITCH,OR SENDING UNIT NEAR OIL FILTER, GAUGE SHOULD NOW READ 0 WITH KEY ON.
IF NOT COULD BE SHORTED WIRE OR BAD GAUGE. CAN SCAN OR HAVE B.C.M. SCANNED TO CHECK DASH CLUSTER.
B.C.M. = BODY CONTROL MODULE. GAUGES DO GIVE TROUBLE! ONE MORE THING, DOES THE GAUGE MOVE AT ALL? AT ANY TIME KEY ON OR OFF.

check oil pressure with gauge....too high = restriction in oil galley...normal = bad sensor or wiring.
