The light malfunction (yellow light) only works for the rear lights. Are you sure all the rear lights work including the inboard lights in the tailgate and the third brake lights. After replacing the bulbs you have to turn off the key and turn it on again for the light to go out. Make sure the correct bulb and wattage bulb is used.
