I have a 2000 gmc sierra 2500 4wd 6.0 gas that isn't shifting out of 2nd gear. It still has reverse. No problems until after i changed the transmission filter. At first it wouldn't go into overdrive, then in a days time, it wouldn't shift out of second. Fluid checked fine. What the hell is the probelm?

MasterSounds like the transmission has a malfunction and is in 'limp-in' mode and needs a diagnosis by a transmission shop or a GM specialist.
