START UP CAR BUT SHIFT GEAR WILL NOT MOVE OUT OF PARK

    If you haven't done this already try mashing the brake pedal while car is running and then try to get it to release. If that doesn't work then the shift sensor on the brake pedal may be bad.

    Shift interlock is malfunctioning. Don’t mash on brake pedal. It should come off with easy brake application. If you would like us to look at it just call me and schedule an appointment (313-562-7022). I am sure we can figure it out for you.
