Question: why is my car backfiring and sounds like its running on 2 cylinders

just got done relining the cam & crank cuz it was a couple of teeth off. after doing so it was running fine but felt like it wasnt getting enough gas like the fuel pump was going out. then the next day I started it up rough idle. day after that as soon as i started it, it backfires

    Recheck the cam timing again. I think you have a bad tensioner allowing the t-belt to jump time. If so, you could damage the engine if it continues. I recommend you replace the belt if it has jumped time.

    I just did and timing is okay and hasnt jumped started car sounds fine now take while its running and get a diagnostics on it
