Question: why is my air bag light flashing
Answer #1ziptie12 August 01, 2012, 14:39Master
Needs service , something in the system is faulty. I'm assuming it's the RED SRS light not the amber one which should be for the passenger side.

it is amber but it does not have a passenger air bag.

Don't mean to sound stupid , but are you sure it's for SRS not ABS ? From what I've seen in vehicles , all primary SRS lights are red and they are supposed to come on for 6-7 seconds for self test at start-up and then go off if no problem is seen by the airbag control module. Is there also a red srs (or picture of airbag symbol)lighting up when you turn the key to the 'run' position?

It is the air bag symbol, showes driver holding steering wheel, no red srs light.
