When car has been sitting or is cold it works properly but when warm the manual transmission doesn't like to go into reverse the longer the car has been in use the harder it is to reverse until it won't at all until the car cools.

I say first gear gets harder to shift into as well, right? Possible, most likely clutch hydraulics problem. Engine off, will it shift ok then? Clutch pedal resistance feel different when warm? Mechanic needs to check it out!
