Question: Why doesn't the All Wheel Drive work?

 Rookie

The AWD disabled light comes on. We took it in and it was diagnosed and no codes were detected. The AWD still won't engage. What do we do or how can it be fixed?

    if the abs light is on, the all wheel is disabled. otherwise you need to go to another shop that will do a proper diag and find the failure and not just send you away with no results.

    so if the abs is not working the all wheel drive wont work either? i have a 2001 chevy astro van that the all wheel drive isnt working.

    yes, that is correct

    you need someone to examine the system for faults and track it down. most likely a wheel speed sensor.
