The fuses for side rear windows and convertible top are good and so is the Power Master Window Module. The dashboard display shows no faults. There is no operation at all for lowering/raising convertible top.It is as if the computer control module is shut down and does not recognize the car has a convertible top.Looks like a power problem but where.

The window circuits run through the convertible top module, under LR seat speaker. Diagnose the circuits.
Thank you for your reply. The diagnosis was a non-operational control module.Replaced with operation used control module and both convertible top and rear two side windows operate normally. However the driver side rear window now makes a clicking /clunking sound as it rolls up about halfway then resumes normal operation.I have been told I will need to replace whole window regulator even if the problem is only related to one small part of assembly. So now onto this next Saab question.

If the regulator is bad in any spot it will normally need replacing look at Otto see if you think of some way to repair it.

Thank you for your reply. The diagnosis was a non-operational computer control module. The repair was an operational used computer control module. Now both convertible top and rear side windows operational;however now the drivers side rear window makes a clicking/clunking sound as it rolls up about halfway then resumes normal operation.I have been told I will need to replace whole window regulator even if the problem is simply a specific part of assembly. So now onto the next Saab question.
