Question: Why does my steering wheel on my 2008 KIA Optima vibrate when I go over 60-65 mph?

This has been happening since I bought it new with only 20 miles on it. It has over 30,000 miles on it now. I haven't taken it in because I kind of use it as a way of helping me to not speed but there might be something wrong with the car for this to happen. I know I should have taken it back to the dealer right away.

    yep, 3 years is a long time. i think you have a bad tire. did you ever rotate the tires and see if there was a difference?? have you ever aligned the front end??

    To add to Roy - I'm thinking wheel balance all the way. But as Roy mentioned - have you rotated your tires at all? If not, certain wear patterns may have worn into the tire that are unavoidable.
