2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Question: Why does my Malfunction Indicator Light stays on

This problem has occured off and on.I had it cked.at Dodge service,they put some attachment to it and could not find any problem,Then the light went off.It is back on again,the truck is runing fine,

    Are you talking about the check engine light? If so the Dodge dealer is not the only place you can take it too.

    well I looked it up in the manuel and it was call MIL,or MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT

    That is a fancy way of saying check engine light. Just because the dealer sells the vehicles doesn't mean they know how to fix them. You need to find a shop that can scan the vehicle witha full enhanced scanner. If the light came on there's codes in the computer, unless the computer is bad.
