why does my dodge shadow only stall when warmed up and not restart till cool? on 1994 Dodge Shadow

my 1994 dodge shadow stalls when warmed up after about 20 mins and will not restart till completely cooled ....i replaced the rotor button ,distributor cap and plugs and wires but didnt help ...please help i dont want to keep replacing parts aimlessly and i cannot afford to go to a mechanic right now...thanks so much ive researched and found so many answers fuel filter,idle air control valve,mass air flow or 02 sensor etc...

r problem was they would stall for no reason. It did not seem to matter how long the car was driven for, or the outside temperature. You would be driving along and it just stalls. You pull over and wait about 5 minutes and it starts up. You don't have any problems after that for at least a couple of days, or weeks. We too went years before we actually figured out what it was. It was suggested by somebody on the internet to change the engine pickup sensor (located under the distributer cap). We did just that on the Shadow first, and have not had a problem for at least 3 months. The car is being driven every day, and it has not given any problems after changing that sensor. We then changed it on the Dynasty and that car has been fine ever since. The sensor on the Dynasty was expensive (about $300 CAD), but the sensor on the Shadow was cheap ($50 CAD).
