The air conditioning compressor can "squeal" for either of two reasons either the drive belt is loose/ not tensioned correctly / or the fan belt is contaminated with oil or otherwise failing, or the air conditioning clutch at the front of the compressor is failing. It can be replaced without replacing the compressor. Get it checked out before something fails and adds to the cost of repair.
