why does it take my raditor fan so long to come on, do I need a new temperture sensor?

    Do you know what temp. the fans are coming on at? most cars cooling systems are designed to have the fans come on at about 205-215F . May take 20-30 minutes if outdoors in colder weather. To be sure , it would be best to have monitored with scanner , to watch sensor(s) and fan controls.
