I RECENTLY SERVICED MY 2003 GMC SIERRA HD 2500 WITH A TUNE UP, AND WHILE I TOOK IT FOR A TEST DRIVE AS I CAME TO A STOP, IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS ABOUT TO STALL, I TAKE VERY GOOD CARE AND MAINTAIN MY VEHICLE WHEN NECESSARY, I WAS WONDERING IF THIS IS ONE OF THE RECALLS THEY ARE HAVING FOR MY TRUCK, I AM A MECHANIC, BUT I FIGURED I DONT WANT TO GUESS WHAT THIS IS BUT I THINK ITS THE FUEL PUMP, COULD USE A LITTLE FEEDBACK THANKS

2003 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Question: WHY DOES IT SEEM TO WANT TO SHUT OFF WHEN I COME TO A STOP

It sounds like you have a low idle. Check for codes, check the fuel mixture (vacuum leaks?) and clean the throttle body if that's possible on this model.
It may also be that you reset the idle/fuel adaptation which is the minor adjustments the engine module makes to correct for minor vacuum leak and things that affect the way the engine runs. Did you disconnect the battery when performing the tune-up?

IF PROBLEM OF STALLING BEGAN AFTER RECENT TUNEUP.....
I WOULD LOOK FOR A VACUUM LINE LOOSENED DURING THE SERVICE WORK.
IF NOT IMMEDIATELY EVIDENT... TRY SPRAYING WD40 AT VACUUM LINE CONNECTIONS AREAS.
OTHER SITUATION COULD BE PLUG WIRE NOT SEATED TIGHTLY TO SPARK PLUG. THIS CAN BE SEEN BY LOOKING UNDER HOOD WHEN ENGINE IS RUNNING BUT NO OTHER LIGHT AROUND ( DARK UNDER HOOD ).
