Question: why do rear rotors get exceptionally hot after rotors and pads replaced ?

After my brake pads and rotors (front and rear), were replaced,rear rotors get real hot.Any suggestions to why this might be happening?

    Are the calipers not adjusted correctly and the pads staying in contact with the rotors?
