1997 Ford Escort Question: why do my battery go dead after turning off the ignition?



amplifier, 2.0L 4 Cylinder, Storm Lake, IA, September 22, 2013, 12:10

I always need a jump start after turning my car off. I have a new battery, and the alternator is good. I was told by a repair person that something is drawing the power from the battery.

    the personwho told you yhere is a drain on the battery is probably right but I would load test the battery first just because the battery is new doesnt mean it is good
