Rookie

it stalled then ran fine for 10 miles i heard a pop and the oil light came on, the car shut off,my mechanic said the oil pump went and the fluids were good,he doesnt no what caused it,but has to replace the motor,only running on 5 cylinders..did someone tamper with my car?

OIL PUMP POSSIBLY WENT BAD FROM SO LITTLE USE OR THERE IS A LARGE AMOUNT OF SLUDGE BUILT UP ON OIL PICK UP SCREEN
