Completely unsatisfied with recent repair service.
Took car to the autoport and gave them 5 days to make a repair.(so there was no rush)
My car was making a sound during acceleration in first gear while the clutch was being released. I thought this was a clutch repair. The technician agreed but did nothing to diagnose the problem or hear the sound for himself. Instead, he spent 5 hours (70$/hour) installing a new clutch 250$+. The vehicle is still making the same sound and now I have a brand new clutch installed in a vehicle that did not need it.
I feel like I have been swindled. The car is still making the same sound 600$ later.
I will never contribute any information in diagnosing problems again other than it makes a sound. I will also never use this facility again and plan to tell my friends to do the same.
Customer service is terrible.
Professionalism is terrible.
I know it is convenient and they have a distinct advantage over all competition due to their location and being tax free, but DON'T DO IT. IT'S NOT WORTH IT!! They're the worst!
