    white smoke was blowing out the muffler, my mechanic diagnoised it as a blown head gasket. It cost me $2200 to reapir it.

    mine was doing the smokin. thought it was head gasket. ended up being intake manifold gasket. all ok after repair. At 189000 now

    White smoke out of tailpipe, check engine light always on. Sometimes it would flash upon starting up. ANd I was going thru engine coolant like twice a week filling up the overflow container. Blown head gasket $1,000 later. UGH!
