2001 Mitsubishi Galant Question: While I stop the car at a trafic light, low level oil warning displays.

Only at the trafic light when, I apply brakes, low level oil warning displays and goes away when the car is in motion. The oil level is okay but the warning displays during the brakes apply. This problem is happening since about two months.

    Does the warning light actually say low oil LEVEL? It could be oil PRESSURE warning light. How many miles and what condition is engine? Have oil PRESSURE checked with guage and make sure it's not over-filled as that can lead to oil foaming and low pressure.
