can I have bent valves

    Its possible you might have damaged the valves but this should be a non interference or free wheeling motor. Vehicle will not run with this belt broken.

    This is a non interference engine so the odds are in your favor with being able to replace the timing components and be ok. The recommended interval is 105k miles for timing belt replacement on this engine.
