A lot of cars have computer controlled front engine mounts seems crazy. Acura was the first I saw. Seems over complicated. If the mount is leaking you just replace the mount nothing more to do with the computer as far as programming it or such. There are some bad quality after market mounts made in China and Tiawan but look at www.rockauto.com and see for yourself what is available. Call your Acura dealer and well maybe the mount is reasonably priced. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect.... Alldata is very easy to navigate http://bit.ly/AllData_Repair_Manuals_Online
No it would be unrelated. Does your car have a check engine light on? Any code stored for EGR or miss fire codes?
