when driving is seems like it is gonna run out of gas.it bucks.doesnt star right away.the engine cuts off when u put the a/c on and when the a/c is on there isnt a lot of acceleration power.when u back up with the a/c on the engine .

    on top of the fuel tank. the tank has to be dropped a little to get the lines off the pump assembly.

    check the operation of the IAC idle air control valve manipulates engine idle when cold and a/c is turned on etc

    I had this problem with my Dodge Dakota and originally it was thought that is was the fuel filter or pump or both. Turned out it was the computer. Fortunately it was plug and play so it didn't require any special programming and I got it from my local parts store. About $300.00 and I installed it myself in 5 mins.
