Remove the glovebox. The HVAC cylinder inside you will see has the blower motor resistor mounted top driver side on it. http://images.search.yahoo.com/images/view;_ylt=A0PDoYC8uOxQNwYAP7iJzbkF;_ylu=X3oDMTBlMTQ4cGxyBHNlYwNzcgRzbGsDaW1n?back=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%2Fimages%3Fp%3Dhow%2Bto%2Breplace%2B2001%2Bhyundai%2Bsonata%2Bblower%2Bmotor%2Bresistor%26fr%3Dyfp-t-701%26fr2%3Dpiv-web%26tab%3Dorganic%26ri%3D12&w=723&h=547&imgurl=www.justanswer.com%2Fuploads%2FJoecamel90%2F2009-04-21_121616_blower.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.justanswer.com%2Fcar%2F20qzo-blower-fan-2002-sonata-operates-high-checked.html&size=72+KB&name=The+%3Cb%3Eblower+%3C%2Fb%3Efan+on+my+2002+%3Cb%3ESonata+%3C%2Fb%3Eonly+operates+on+high%2C+I+checked+...&p=how+to+replace+2001+hyundai+sonata+blower+motor+resistor&oid=2a492a4408b2e099e7b749d1362368d5&fr2=piv-web&fr=yfp-t-701&tt=The%2B%253Cb%253Eblower%2B%253C%252Fb%253Efan%2Bon%2Bmy%2B2002%2B%253Cb%253ESonata%2B%253C%252Fb%253Eonly%2Boperates%2Bon%2Bhigh%252C%2BI%2Bchecked%2B...&b=0&ni=66&no=12&ts=&tab=organic&sigr=12l4g59b6&sigb=14ilg0lcq&sigi=1223il13k&.crumb=qL.npswsuNd
