Question: where is the voltage regulator located on a 2001 toyota corolla

The battery light keeps coming on and flickers when i drive. I have had both the alternator and the battery checked and they r both good.

    the voltage regulator is built into the alternator. check for properly adjusted belt, loose wiring, main system fuse/fusible link. otherwise, replace the alternator.
