    It is a yellow cap with a short stick on it. You must check the level without the engine running.

    In the ,96_97 models there is anoverflow plug near thedrain plug. Tranny fluid should be even or slightly below the inside top leve when the plug is removed.Thereis no dipstick and there is specialtool available tto hrlp check the level.
