1999 Toyota Land Cruiser Q&A

1999 Toyota Land Cruiser Question: Where is the throttle sensor on my car?

I would like to replace it myself. Is this possible? -
Answer 1
It is on the Throttle Body and has a 3-4 wire connector. Yes it is possible to replace it yourself, but get a FACTORY part. Why are you replacing it, do you have a throttle position sensor code? -

Thank you for the answer! I found it and replaced it with a toyota part. It still didn't work. It ideled fast and would not react until I pushed halfway down on the foot pedal. I took it off and put back on a couple of times and disconnected the battery, Now it just revs. idles and revs repeatedly. I think I did something wrong? I forgot to answer your question, this did start because I got a throttle position sensor code. -
