Question: Where is the Thermostat for my car

Car has been overheating very quickly in the past two days. I believe that my thermostat is going bad. i don;t know where it is but i hope that someone can help me

    Follow the upper and lower radiator hoses to where they meet at the block. The thermostat will be near one of those 2 places and will have a rounded cavity with usually 2 bolts attaching it.

    It is on the drivers side/air filter housing side of the cylinder head as Dan said in a housing secured by two nuts (12mm I think).

    Driver side. Pointing at the driver side wheel. Below the plastic engine cover. Follow the large hose coming out of the top of the radiator on the driver side. Good luck. You'll need to remove the transmission bolt that holds the hard pipes for your heater in place in order to have enough room to get the cover off. Get a bucket too. You're gonna lose a ton of water.
