where is the shift solenoid located on a 2000 ford explorer on 2000 Ford Explorer

will drive in 1st and 2nd. if I manualy shift at 40 to 50 od will work. reverse and third will not

the shift solonoids are in the tranny, attached to the valve body. i would get a tranny shop to scan it to make sure you dont have burned clutches.
