    The sensor is in the distributor so it is the distributor that needs to get changed, The distributor gear will turn as you remove the distributor so there is a precise set of instructions to follow and you need a timing light then to verify ignition timing afterward.About 1 hour labor.
    There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
