I want to replace the PCV valve - where is it located?

    The PCV valve on this engine is strange it is under the plastic engine cover just next to the engine oil dipstick, at 90 degrees to it secured with a bolt and has two O rings on it once removed.

    if my car hesitates when im driving and turns off when i slow down at 5 mph or to a complete stop. it also smells like exhaust when it hesitate?
