It's not a typical oil filter. it's a canister filter. On the V6 isn't a black dome cap to the right of the engine with a hex nut top. You unscrew it and put the filter in there.

On the 2011 V6 and probably the 2010 Its behind the battery in a plastic container that has a large (23mm?) plastic nut on top, you unscrew that and you'll find a canister filter that's easy to replace. Make sure you have the o-rings and read instructions before opening the filter holder.
