I got a P0171 Reading when it was tested.

    Ford use an airflow meter (MAF) to tell the computer how much air enters the engine no a MAP sensor. It is located in the air filter housing 6 wire connector attached to it (5 wires in the connection). Google "p0171 ford expedition" the code is for a lean condition, it could be a bad airflow meter or it could just be a vacuum leak. There is a company that independent auto repair shops get their information from, this same information is available inexpensively for people that work on their own cars.. The information is year make and model specific, covering repair procedures, torque specifications, fluid capacities and specifications, service bulletins, component locations, wiring diagrams ect....
