Question: Where is the location of the Airbags Sensor.

Last week i hit a big pothole,on the front pasenger side, and since that they the Airbag light stay on. We use the machine to reset it, but it doen't reset it. 05 Airbag. what that mean, and where is it so i can replace it.

    Customer Concern: Air bag light comes on. Code 005.
    Average Reported Mileage: 51000
    Tests/Procedures: 1. Disable the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system.

    2. Disconnect the Sensing Diagnostic Module (SDM).

    3. Disconnect the passenger side air bag.

    4. At the SDM harness connector, test the resistance between the Dark Green wire in terminal 13 and the Brown wire in terminal 14. There should be 0 ohms.

    5. If the resistance is higher, test the continuity of each wire from the SDM to the passenger side air bag.

    Thanks for the information, it did help, but one of my sensor is bad, and i am trying to locate so i can replace it, especial the one @ the front passenger side, which is the side that i hit a big pothole during a raining day and the bang was very hard, if you can help me i just need to locate the airbag sensor. And thank for you information.
