agree with dandd,EXCEPT the part about the inertia switch being gone! the Fords,Mercury,Mazda,etc do still have them.they didn't do away with em!
There is no 'cut off' switch on this vehicle. On older Fords there was an 'inertia switch' that would cut the fuel pump in the case of an accident, but even those are gone.
If your fuel pump is not working, check power and ground to the pump, while your are cranking the engine, if you have power and ground, then the pump has failed, if you do not, then check the fuel pump relay. If you have no spark and no fuel pump power, then check the crank sensor.
