Question: Where is the fuel filter (or screen) located on a 2003 Nissan Murano ?

My 2003 Murano stalls after it has been driven for approx. 15-20 minutes or more. It does't always do this. It will stall for approx. 6-10 seconds, then it will rush all at once. If you stop and turn the car off for about 2-3 minutes it is good to go for another 15-30 minutes?? Please help!!

    well, not the fuel filter. go to a shop and get a real diag. they will do compression, spark and fuel tests to get to the problem.

    If the catalyt converter is bad, what kind of symptoms would that cause?

    i had this same problem , it's the fuel pump

    I also have a 2003 Murano and have the same exact problems. Mine not only does that, but sometimes jerk very violently while I'm driving and also cuts off while I'm driving. It's a faulty fuel pump that they have been having problems with every since the model came out. They have rebuilt the pump, but will not recall the trucks. I guess they're just waiting for a fatal accident to happen and then decide to put it on recall..
