Expansion valve is stopped up and need to be replaced. Where is it located on the car?

    The expansion valve is located in the liquid line from near the evaporator core near the firewall. The liquid line goes from the evaporator to the condenser. Also in the liquid line is a screen filter that may be your problem, make sure and replace it also. The freon will have to be recovered first, evacuated after repairs and then recharged.
