where is the evap purge valve located?

    A wiring diagram shows a red and grey/yellow wire on the evap purge solenoid valve. It has to be between the Evaporative Emission Canister and the intake manifold on the engine.

    No... what I think is being asked is where can one physically touch the canister e.g remove or replace.

    The evaporative canister purge solenoid on my 3.0 is on the drivers side of the intake manifold, towards the back. What I need to know is how does it actually attach to the manifold? Mine has become detached due to rotten rubber lines, and the hookup is not apparent.
