Question: where is the crankshaft position sensor

Visitor, March 09, 2010, 06:20Replyi am guessing this vehicle does not have a distributer, mine is a 99 with a coil rail. the crankshaft senser is where the distributor would be.Usually a short shaft on passenger side of engine, the sensor is on top of shaft. hope this helps.

Visitor, June 10, 2010, 17:55ReplyThe Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) is located at the rear of the block behind the bell housing. The Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) is located inside the distributor.

Visitor, August 23, 2010, 18:45Replyit is found under the distributer cap it is esay to tack off and put on. but i hvae yet to fine a new one.
