The coil is in the distributor , and if it's bad it will not show on the OBDII tester.
And can have you chasing your tail. I replaced mine twice and NAPA parts can be
bad out of the box it might take 2 or 3 try's to get a good one.
A good thing is the distributor will only go in one way so timing is not a problem.
